ACCOUNT MANAGER – THE HUB

The Hub Marketing Communications seeks a dynamic Marketing Communications Coordinator / Account Manager. This is a Full-Time position for a person with 1 to 3 years experience in a similar role.

This position has the opportunity to grow with a marketing communications firm, developing a wide variety of marketing communications strategies and implementation. The position will also be the account manager for a range of Hub clients across Government, Indigenous, not-for-profit, corporate and NGO sectors.

The Hub Marketing Communications is a dynamic, growing marketing communications firm based in Nedlands. The Hub focuses on creating strong partnerships with clients and provides expertise across marketing, communications/PR, creative studio/brand design, web development and market research.

The Hub works with numerous organisations in industries including tourism, energy, education, health, agriculture, disability, hospitality, arts and culture, Indigenous and Government to name only a few.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the marketing communications coordinator will undertake tasks including developing and implementing marketing communications plans, research analysis, client liaison and management and design coordination.

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Exceptional written skills and proofing.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in client management and account coordination.
  • Sound computer skills in word, powerpoint, excel etc
  • Have the ability to multi-task.
  • Have good time management skills and be deadline driven.
  • Think outside the box.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail.
  • Be able to develop marketing communication outcomes that meet client objectives and expectations.
  • Have a positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn.
  • An appropriate qualification in marketing or communications or a similar discipline.
  • Between 1 – 3 years work experience in a marketing communications role.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – Mi9 / Ninemsn

The Role

As Account Executive you will work closely with the campaign operations team to create insertion orders, ensure creative assignment, monitor and optimize current campaigns running. You will be the main customer contact for day-to-day business interaction, addressing customer concerns, handling urgent enquiries and resolving issues and provide support to the Sales Executive.




Key Responsibilities

  • 

Strengthening Mi9 Media relationships in market through exceptional customer service and in market exposure with clients as well as media agencies.

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all client activity with Mi9 Advertising within the WA market.

  • Being the customer contact for day-to-day business interaction, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues.

  • Managing external communication with the Campaign Operations team to provide exceptional customer service and delivery and reviewing active accounts to ensure all aspects of account administration are effectively managed.

  • Monitoring contract delivery and reporting progress against client objectives, keeping the clients and Senior Sales Executive informed of the status.

  • Providing the Senior Sales Executive with regular, accurate updates on all account statuses, opportunities, issues and campaigns.
•Generating, analysing and delivering mid/end campaign delivery reports.

  • Create Insertion Orders and review of order revisions and delivery obligation.

  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with all key clients and agency counterparts.

  • Supporting the Sales Executive by collating research, building sales collateral and working on both reactive briefs and proactive pitches.

  • Regularly collating competitive media material and audience reports for wider team and clients




Skills and Experience



  • Degree in Marketing or Advertising

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products especially Excel and Powerpoint

  • Hard working

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Digital experience favourable

  • Passion for digital media

  • Strong personal relation skills
