Anne’s filled her frame for Oasis. Have you?

Anne_fill-a-frame_BLOG.jpgBy now all participating agencies and media businesses will have received their frames for a new fund raising initiative this year called ‘Fill A Frame for Oasis’.

Agencies have purchased frames from the Oasis Committee and asked to fill them with something – whether that’s a painting, a poem or even some of those hot photos everyone seems to take these days on Instagram and the like. The filled frames will be auctioned off at the Oasis Ball, Friday March 7, with all proceeds going directly towards helping the kids at Crossroads West.

Fill A Frame manager, Sue Stirling, reports she’s had some really funny emails about what you want to fill your frames with and her answer has been the same every time – fill them with whatever you want! That’s all part of the fun.

fill_a_frame_BLOG.jpgThe first completed frame was received yesterday at Oasis HQ – a drawing enthusiastically created by Meerkats’ Number 1 Office Worker, Anne (above). It’s a beauty don’t you think? Employed through the Creative Spirit program, Anne works two days a week at Meerkats helping keep the warren in tiptop order, and was very excited to be able to play a part for Oasis. Great stuff.

So be prepared for some fierce bidding on the night. Not only will Anne’s fantastic frame be up for grabs, there will up to 80 more from people across the industry. There is some surprising talent out there and it’s all a bit of fun for a great cause. Enjoy the show and snap up an original next Friday, March 7.
