Fairfax Media hosts ‘Foraging Dinner under the Stars’ for TCC delegates at Emergence Creative

One of the big highlights of the Emergence Creative Festival in Margaret River was the Fairfax Media hosted “Foraging Dinner under the Stars” for The Communications Council delegates attending the Festival.
The special evening was held at Surfers Point in Prevelly near the mouth of the river and was also attended by Keynote Speakers – PJ Bloom, Ben Akers, Richard Bullock, Jonathan Kneebone, Eric Phua, Evan Bregman, Christiaan Van Vuuren and Carolyn Miller.
Guests were taken on a special foraging tour and encouraged to participate and open their minds to what can be created from the surrounding landscape, including unusual ingredients like dune spinach, wild rosella, salt bush, beach herbs and quondong. A 5-star dinner was then enjoyed.
Marnie McKeown, State Manager of Fairfax WA said, “The opportunity to work on such a unique event with Danielle Norrish, Mat Lewis and the Emergence team presented an opportunity to demonstrate what can be created if you are open to new opportunities and think differently.”
“Emergence showcases commercial creativity along side music and film. This is significantly important in recognizing the value of our industry as the festival recognizes emerging trends between these creative disciplines. Fairfax Media understand the importance of this and with their support enables us to showcase WA industry internationally, ” said The Communication Council’s Danielle Norrish.
