Dentsu Aegis Network raises over $10,000 for the Western Australian Bushfire relief fund
Dentsu Aegis Network (formerly Aegis Media) last week held a fundraiser to support the Lord Mayor’s Disaster Relief Fund, raising an impressive $10,250 for the victims of Perth’s recent bushfires. With all monies raised to be matched by the company, Dentsu Aegis Network has made a significant contribution totalling $20,500 to helping those in need.
More than 200 media and marketing industry members gathered at the Dentsu Aegis Network offices in Perth, and enjoyed food, drinks and live entertainment.
The night would not have been possible without the generous support of the Perth Media industry. They were responsible for donations all 25 of the silent auction items and all 19 of the raffle prizes. Key Sponsors were Thirsty Camel, Liquor Barons, Lion Nathan, Oakover Wines, Mondos, EmbroidME, Kresta, KHQ and Sandbox Creative supported the event with donations of product and services.
Silent Auction items included $2,000 Kresta Voucher, SMEG Dishwasher (donated by KHQ), Signed Chris Rogers Ashes Shirt, Signed & Framed 2013 West Coast Eagles Guernsey, $2,000 Sandbox Creative voucher, to name a few.
Local acoustic cover band Roger Roger rocked some tunes throughout the afternoon/evening despite the 38 degree heat!
It was great to see the Perth industry join together to support this great cause and help to raise such a significant donation for the Lord Mayor’s Disaster relief fund.
