Perfectly Adequate’s hard-hitting Learn for Life Foundation PSA commercial already has 2.8 million YouTube hits after only two days
Perth-based production company Perfectly Adequate has created and produced a new PSA spot for the not-for-profit Learn for Life Foundation WA.
The hard hitting spot is aimed at high school students and promotes the “Stay in School” message and pushes the importance of education message. It is written and directed by Henry Inglis and Aaron McCann, who together with producer, Lauren Elliott, formed Perfectly Adequate in 2009.
“Set Yourself Free” has more than 2.8 million views on YouTube since its release two days ago.
Their previous spot for Central Institute of Technology – “It’s a Snap” – a comedy digital short about ‘learning in the city’ was also an internet hit. In March 2012 Hollywood’s leading talent agency, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) signed them.
Inglis and McCann met whilst studying Film & Television at CIT in 2002 and since graduating have seen their filmmaker careers blossom.

Nice buzz and a huge ammount of hits but has anybody actually delved any deeper into ‘the client’ here. All I can find out about “The Learn for Life Foundation” is a website registered to L ELLIOTT & H.C INGLIS & A.W MCCANN trading as ‘Perfectly Adequate’. The site’s just a get up… no links or anything else like that. Gotta say the video’s pretty neat and got a dastardly twist but without a bona fide client, someone who’d approve the concept, commission and pay for the piece, its just a film-school project. I smell a publicity stunt!!!
Wake up, this is a hoax
The “PSA spot” and the website was only set up to promote these guys’ work.
