Evoke Media bewitches agencies for Halloween

Evoke Media’s Zane & Elaine Barry are well-known for taking any and every opportunity to have some fun with their clients.

For Halloween last week, they dressed up their EvolutionAd as the Evoke Media Spook Mobile (complete with phantom farting elephant – so classy!) and visited agencies dressed up as witches and ghouls.  The junior Barrys – Airlie and Indigo – distributed ‘Treat bags’ that were filled with lollies and hopefully a few had winning scratchies in, they also contained a few ‘Tricks’ – spiders, spooks and rats etc.

The highlight for the little witches was distributing little cupcakes to everyone, some of which had been spiked with mustard, a little trick that they loved.  However, Elaine Barry said the last laugh was on her when she was ‘caked’ by OMD’s Kiaran Geen for attempting to trick him with one of the spiked cakes.

“Everyone was really lovely and those who were tricked were extremely gracious. We hope they’ll still speak to us! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to visit every agency that we had hoped to on our run, as demand was so high we ran out of goodies!  We’ll make up for it at Christmas.”
