Mott encouraged by strong launch numbers for Nine Perth’s 4.30pm Local News Bulletin

Channel 9 Perth’s new 4:30pm Local News Bulletin presented by Lee Steele has launched to strong numbers in its first week on air.

Nine Perth managing director, David Mott (pictured), said, “In one week we have grown the timeslot at 4:30pm by 15.1% in total people and 27.5% in the all-important 25-54 demographic.”

“We are also delighted to see growth in the 6:00pm bulletin presented by Tim McMillan increasing 25%, week on week in the 25-54 demographic,” added Mott.  “Whilst it is early days these are very solid increases across both bulletins.”

“Full credit goes to News Director David Stacey and the entire team who pulled out all stops to get the new 4:30pm bulletin up and running,” said Mott. “It’s all part of our ongoing commitment to produce top quality news for the people of Perth”.
