All eyes on Australian creative talent with the launch of new fashion film, Voleuse

A group of emerging Australian creative talent have burst onto the scene with Voleuse, a dark, fast, sexy fashion film that takes its viewers on a thrilling ride. Already attracting praise from the international fashion industry, what this glamourous mystery really uncovers is Australia’s hot new names in fashion.

Voleuse, French for female thief, is set in the streets of what appears to be a European city. This ultra smooth, coolly captivating film will keep fashionistas guessing right to the very end. Voleuse offers a hybrid mix of film and fashion with a storyline sure to have viewers asking for more.

Individually, the talent behind the film are an emerging set of creatives in the Australian fashion industry: leading actress is Perth-­born, international model Fabienne Vanderhaeghen (Chadwicks); Angela Langton of the label Ange Lang is the designer behind the sleek sophisticated gowns; Directors Justin Griffiths and Cheyne Tillier-­Daly shoot with cutting edge expertise, with art direction by Stef Langton. In-­demand MAC makeup artist Hendra creates a sensual, polished look whilst professional stylist Ivanna Fontana adds a final touch of fierce class.

“We wanted to push ourselves to create something visually arresting that also demonstrates each of our abilities, ” said Justin Griffiths.

One of Justin’s films for Homme ‐ Third Coming – is a finalist for both the Upcoming Fashion Film Festival in Milan, and the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2013.

The group came together to create a ‘portfolio piece’ that would showcase each of their individual talents and skills, with the hope that this creative collaboration might open doors for them as well as the Australian fashion and creative industry internationally.
