Crescendo make Moana a little bit more famous in the Youngbloods’ “Make a Band Famous” comp
With the Youngbloods’ “Make a Band Famous” competition set to close this Wednesday, Crescendo went out with one last bang over the Easter long weekend.
Following the success of their Valentine’s Day campaign, Crescendo organised an Easter Sunday gig for Moana at The Moon Café. However the real creative drive was the “Share Your Shake” promotion that occurred alongside.
The “Share Your Shake” concept encouraged people to share their best milkshake idea on Moana’s Facebook page. On the Easter Sunday prior to the gig, Moana would choose her favourite milkshake idea. The winner would earn a $100 Moon Café voucher and have their winning recipe available to order for the night.
Ultimately two milkshakes were made for the evening; a chocolate and cherry marshmallow delight called the “The Cherry Bunny”, and the Share Your Shake winner “The Moana”, a chocolate and coffee sensation.
Awareness for the campaign came via the excellent poster design of Giorgia Parham. Posters were distributed across Perth, including Perth CBD, Northbridge, Subiaco, Leederville and Fremantle. The posters also featured Moana’s brand new logo designed by Crescendo’s Elisa Nuich.
With Moana currently on 660 likes (160 more since Valentine’s Day), Crescendo’s efforts have seen great results trickle in.
