Here’s some more of what we are looking for:

• Ideally you have experience managing teams.
• If you are familiar with the terms “bump in”, “run-sheet” and “permit application” we are on the right track. If not, you need to really, really love the idea of running events.
• You need to be a people person who loves dealing with people.
• You need to be a creative thinker for whom no idea is too big or too intimidating.
• You need to be super organised…. but we’ve mentioned that already.
• You need to have spent some time in or around the media, ideally radio.
• Last but not least we would like you to start now….ish.

We are looking for a highly organised, professional, and enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to join our Perth based Sales team to fill a 12 Month Maternity Leave Contract.

Reporting to the State Sales Manager the successful applicant will provide support to the Perth Sales Team. You will be responsible for the preparation and overall presentation of high quality sales proposals, ratings analysis, sales reports and data entry.

To succeed in this role you will:

• Hold a minimum of one year sales administration experience
• Have experience in building strong relationships with a diverse customer base
• Have advanced experience with computer-based applications
• Demonstrate advanced skills in the Microsoft suite of products, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Possess excellent time management skills and experience working to deadlines
• Have a professional telephone manner
• Demonstrate the ability to comprehend and learn new systems
• Have experience working in a team environment
• Ideally have industry experience and are looking to develop a career in Media Sales.
