Deadline approaching for donations to the 2013 Oasis Ball Creative Art Challenge
The Creative Art Challenge at last year’s Oasis Ball was super-successful and we’re looking to build on that success in 2013.
This is a great chance to have some fun and do something directly to help raise funds for our charity, The Salvation Army’s Crossroads West program for youth at risk. As last year’s show demonstrated, there is some amazing creative talent throughout the industry – not just in creative departments – and we’d love to see it.
With 5 weeks to go until the 2013 Oasis Ball, it’s time to be putting the finishing touches to your masterpiece. That last dab of gouache. A final flourish with the palette knife. One more tweak in Photoshop.
Then again, perhaps 5 weeks is plenty of time to start a new work, produced in a feverish outpouring of creative energy. Or maybe snap a serendipitous moment with the trusty Leica.
Master curator, The Brand Agency’s Sue Stirling, is gratefully accepting pieces up until Wednesday, March 13th, and will ensure they are lovingly, sympathetically, commandingly displayed at the Oasis Ball on Friday, March 15th.
All you need to do is donate a piece of art you’ve created yourself. It can be anything you like – a painting, photograph, sculpture or even your best piece of cross-stitch.
If you’re interested in donating a piece or have any questions, please contact Sue as soon as possible by emailing her at sstirling@brandagency.com.au
