Jane Marwick.jpgJane Marwick will be the new voice of Afternoons on Radio 6PR for 2013. She is well-known to 6PR listeners as a regular program fill-in presenter and as a contributor to Paul Murray’s popular “Friday Free For All” segment.

Marwick began her radio career in Esperance, followed by a stint at the age of 21 with talk station 2UE as a presenter and producer of Phillip Adams show. She has also worked for the ABC on-air and in promotions and was part of top-rating shows at Perth stations’ 92.9, Triple M and 96fm.

“I feel that it is an immense privilege to host afternoons and I would like to take this opportunity to thank 6PR’s management for their vote of confidence. I have relished working with Paul Murray and thank him for his guidance and support over many years. Talk radio is my favourite medium and this fulfils a childhood dream,” said Marwick.

6PR’s General Manager, Martin Boylen said he was delighted to have a broadcaster of Jane’s calibre joining the station: “Jane has a rich heritage and successful track record in the Perth market and we’re confident 6PR listeners will welcome her to the station with open arms,”  he said.
