OMD WA and dgm have been working together via dgm’s Sydney office for the past two years across paid search and SEO, and this new division in the West will further enhance the effectiveness of digital acquisition strategies within OMD WA’s integrated marketing plans for clients.

Called OMD WA Search, the new division will be headed by Search Director Melanie Hardie (pictured), as a joint employee between OMD WA and dgm.

Hardie has a 16-year career in digital marketing in London, Sydney and Perth. She began with Fairfax Media in Sydney, working on leading brands such as the Australian Financial Review, BRW and the Sydney Morning Herald. Melanie has also worked on the launch of CNBC Australia in Sydney and worked with MCN on more than 26 online sites that included Sky news, BBC and National Geographic and more recently as National marketing manager for http://rent.com.au. She has also developed digital marketing solutions for ANZ and HSBC.

Adam Marshall, OMD WA Managing Director, said: “The new division teaming up with dgm means we will boost our search capabilities for all our clients. dgm has a proven track record and Melanie is an industry expert with a wealth of digital experience.”
