Going for a holiday down South is all fun and games until someone has a breakdown. Running into car trouble while driving the long stretches of highway to and from Perth, can literally leave you in the middle of nowhere.
The Brand Agency produced another execution in their country billboard campaign to remind people that with RAC Roadside Assistance a breakdown won’t ruin your trip.
Executive Creative Director: Garry Horner. Copywriter: Leandra Fallis. Art Director: Warrick Sears. Account Director: Kerri Hall.

Previous work was great, but this feels tired.
Brand have been doing some nice work on RAC of late. Not as good as vultures but this is still noticeable and effective.
The’ middle of nowhere’ genius.
A book of cliches a layout pad and a pint. What better way to spend an afternoon? Looking forward to seeing how they turn “up shit creek without a paddle” into a special build
All the best schools in Perth are ‘old’ arn’t they?
Fantastic idea, well done.
Very nice, prefer it to Vultures.
should it not say ‘you are…. nowhere.’ and the arrow just looks wrong – neon maybe?
That is one cool poster!
12.47 , the arrow is pointing to the middle of nowhere.Works for me.
Rather oddly, the placement of the arrow turns the word ‘nowhere’ to ‘now here’. Which depending on the billboard location, could be nowhere.
Ahhhh, the debate among all the intelligent ad people. I’m glad we all have time to sit here and look into whether we are here, there or in the middle of nowhere… Unfortunately, the passing traffic won’t have the same amount of time to think about it.
Pass @ 8.46am.
Your point is a good one. We all have to remember that our work is viewed by disinterested people, in a hurry, on their way to more important things. And this is complicated by the fact that every individual ‘reads’ our work slightly differently. However, this doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t do everything within our power to ensure that it is read and understood correctly – which sometimes involves paying attention to the most minor of details.
I think that is all that is happening here. No one is claiming any special intelligence.
And just to be clear, I think it’s a great billboard. And like ‘old school’ I’m looking forward to the next execution.
Great poster, i got it no problem!
