Countdown to the 2012 Bullshit Battle of the Ad Bands: 7 – Will anyone take flight this year?

Continuing our countdown to the 2012 Bullshit Battle of the Ad Bands with some songs that could / might / probably wont be performed.

We don’t know a lot about Foo Fighters except Dave Grohl used to be the drummer for seminal Gen X band Nirvana. Now he’s the guitarist and singer for the Foos. Smartarse.

We went to their Perth concert at the end of last year. Pretty good show.

And we like this song by them, the film clip for which shows a nice little bit of crowd surfing by Grohl. When is someone gonna try that at the Battle? Who’s game to launch themselves from the Irish Club stage into the arms of their adoring fans? 

Hmm…perhaps you’d better Learn to Fly first.

The 2012 Bullshit Battle of the Ad Bands will be held at the Irish Club in Subiaco on Friday, August 3. Ticket sales TBA.
