PADC life members inaugural lunch at the Subi
For the very first time life members of the PADC got together to catch up for a lunch at the Subiaco Hotel on Friday.
Life members are those people who have over long periods contributed greatly in the success of the PADC since the club was formed in the early 1980’s and staged the inaugural Awards Show in 1989. The lunch was the idea of former President Richard Gale, and organised by former PADC manager, Liz Bindon-Bonney. The current President, Spencer Battista also attended and plans to make it an annual event.
Pictured are (Back-LtoR): Richard Gale, John Ilian, Malcolm Maclean, Spencer Batista (Current PADC President) Michelle Blakeley. (Front-LtoR): Peter Armstrong, Gordon Dawson, John Morgan, Dick Baynham, Liz Bindon-Bonney and Wayne Vinten.
Life members who couldn’t attend the lunch were Howard Read, Ross Tinney and Kim Shaw.

Bet somebody’s ears were burning that day…
No ears were burning on that day. Most of us had the fish.
Is that really Wayne Vinten or were they just using a wide angle lens – ha!
Would loved to have been there, specially in that company. Unfortunately I was out of the state. Howard Read
Kim Shaw missed a lunch at the Subi??? That’s breaking news!
