SHED pulls one out for Attix
SHED has produced their first TVC for new client Attix. With over 35 years in the business and offices in Perth and Sydney, Attix are Australia’s most experienced attic and loft specialists.
Said Attix General Manager Tony Walton: “As this is Attix’ first time on TV, it was important that the product be clearly demonstrated. However the last thing we wanted was another boring infomercial. We made this clear to the guys from the outset and encouraged them to use humour. As you can see, they were more than happy to oblige!
Watch the spot: Attix_30_revised.mp4
“The results to date have been fantastic. Since the first showing, web traffic has doubled (up 115%) and we’ve received a record number of leads with a 70% conversion rate to date. Oh and one complaint. Needless to say we’re a very happy client.”

That is really bad, it’s just not funny.
Humour is a subjective thing. I think it’s funny.
That’s a bit harsh Disappointed.
i think it’s great – the target market will love it
Turn the frown upside down, ‘Disappointed’. Surely that raised a giggle or at least a smirk on an otherwise incredibly dull day.
Crack is whack!
Reading ‘Target Market’ in this thread made me smile – which is much more that this cheap rim shot achieved.
What were you hoping for ‘Disappointed’? Something from the Ming Dynasty?
“the target market will love it” – who’s that? Anyone with a house and a roof??
Well, I have a bloody house and a roof and this is rubbish.
I like it. Cute and made me smile.
2.06, having a house and roof would certainly be a broad demographic parameter. Think also of the psychographic of the average middle-income down-to-earth working man/woman who isn’t reading advertising blogs during the day
2.06 settle down buddy you’ll blow a haemorrhoid! Regardless of whether or not it tickles your funny bone it’s obviously making the Attix till ring which is the most important thing. Just goes to show that simple memorable television ads can still work their butts off for clients regardless of how many Facebookers like them or twits twitter about them.
