TimBrade_sml.jpgDirector Tim Brade has joined the team at Split Screen. Brade graduated from Film and Television studies in 2007 and worked freelance directing music videos and corporates. To further his career in advertising, he attended  AWARD school in 2011.

“We decided to take Tim on because of his passion to work on television commercials”, said Split Screen Producer Lee Guy-Wallis.  “The philosophy behind Split Screen has always been to take on new directors and get them experience in the industry.  It has been a privilege to have represented directors such as AFI Award winner Elissa Down and Academy Award nominee Peter Templeman and see them become internationally successful. Their passion, however, was always to direct long form.  Tim  just wants to make his career in commercials, he is not using them as a stepping stone to make films”.

Together with Split Screen Director Scott Wright, Brade has worked on a corporate for Royal LIfe Saving, and directed a corporate video and Gruen Transfer spot for Cooch.

“At the moment his showreel consists mainly of music videos, but it is good indication of the talent Tim has,”  said Guy-Wallis.
