Department of Human Services appoints Block
Block has been appointed to The Department of Human Services’ roster of agencies following an extensive tender, which began in July 2011.
Block is one of 38 contractors to be selected by The Department of Human Services – and the only agency from Western Australian to make the strategic roster.
Block will now work with the Department to integrate effective business and communications strategies. Its strategy team delivers media strategy development, implementation and training; facilitation and stakeholder engagement; and consumer research and analytics.
“We’re delighted to be the only agency from WA to join the strategic roster for The Department of Human Services. Block believes strategy and creativity flow directly into each other to solve real-world business problems,” says Carolyn Hall (pictured), Director, Business Strategy at Block.
“There is never a stock standard method to solving a branding, marketing or communication challenge. Our team consists of marketing strategists who help clients connect in a meaningful way with desired audiences, and we’re looking forward to bringing this unique approach to The Department of Human Services.”
The Department of Human Services provides health and social welfare services. It comprises of 33 federal government agencies, including lead agency Centrelink, ASIC, Medicare, Department of Climate Change, Department of Defence, ABS, Austrade, and many others, which may now all call upon Block for strategic input.
