303 Perth wins in Interactive & Digital category with ‘Totems’ campaign at Create Design Awards
303’s recent ‘Totems’ campaign for the Perth International Arts Festival won in the Interactive and Digital category (up against projects for Honda, Guinness, British Airways and Schweppes) at the prestigious Create Design Awards 2011 last night, held in Melbourne.
The campaign was also a finalist in the running for the Project of the Year. The project allowed Perth Festival goers to create a unique artwork described by the events they booked online.
303 commissioned ‘Future Deluxe’ to code the 11 generative artworks that reflected each festival genre.

“Although this project was a pleasure to produce, it was a hefty challenge; marrying generative art and flash is no simple task. We are really proud of the project and a pat on the back like this is super,” said Richard Berney, associate creative director, 303.

That is an interesting integrated digital idea from an above-the-line agency, recognised at the highest level .
‘wow’ – Above the line agency? I believe 303 does more than that. You do them a disservice although I’m sure you didn’t mean to.
Nice little idea for a nice little client and a nice little award. Hardly a Titanium Lion though.
I have the same thing on my iTunes.
