Tracey Horsley says big thankyou to Perth media from the mother of a Heartkid

Mitchell & Partners’ account director Tracey Horsley hosted ‘Cuppa for Heartkids’ – a fundraising morning tea for Heartkids at Mitchell’s East Perth office recently.

Horsley, who is well-known to Perth media, got to know the Heartkids charity first-hand when her second child was born in February this year. Xavier had complex congenital heart disease and needed open-heart surgery in Melbourne to save his life.

She recorded the roller-coaster ride of Xavier’s birth, surgery and recovery.

“I was overwhelmed by everyone’s support and generosity, and we raised just under$800 for Heartkids WA and had some wonderful donations of products and vouchersfor future use to raise further funds. Special thanks to Channel 9 for donating the major prize – an LCD TV.”
