Mitch Mitchell to join Marketforce
Senior writer Mitch Mitchell has resigned from The Brand Agency and will join Marketforce next month.
Marketforce MD John Driscoll said it was “fantastic” news for his agency, with another senior creative appointment – believed to be an art director to partner Mitchell – expected to be announced shortly.
Mitchell is the fourth senior departure from The Brand Agency’s creative department in the last two months. Art director Danielle Glenister has joined 303 and Josh Edge & Rikki Burns have joined Longtail. However, on the plus side, former Marketforce senior team Murray Laird and Steve Lorimer have joined The Brand.

And guess who’s coming to dinner to be his art director?! 🙂
Sexy move.
And does that mean Marketforce can reclaim the title of ‘Perth’s Tallest Creative Department’?
All the best Mitch!
Mitch. You need to cut the Mullet! and….Mystery solved…. I’m going to be his art director!
You’re sporting a beautiful mullet Mitch. Congrats on the new gig!
5 agencies in 4 years – that’s some going!
Don’t think you would class Danni as senior, talented though she is, she’s only been an AD for one and half years.
Brave move
It must be like seagulls fighting for chips over there
I wonder why so many creatives would want to leave in such a short period of time?

ahh if only he was going to Mitchells. Think of the headlines! All the best
Sorry for the poor marketforce suits!
Well done Mitch for getting out of there. 4th creative to leave in 2 months. That’s unheard of for a creative department.
Matt – she’s been an AD at brand over 2 years and a producer before that.
You are a bad stalker.
Brave that he is going to MF not many chips to fight over there, pretty bare cupboard,
12.27pm.
Spencer Tracy, Sydney Poitier and Katherine Hepburn on a job share?
7.58pm.
Face it, this is Perth. The same accounts move around all the time and once MF get their new-look department together business will return. Mitch and A.N.Other have made a smart move in negotiating a pay rise and raising their profile. The only people who will lose out are those that stay where there are out of some sense of misplaced loyalty or others who miss the boat because they don’t socialise/brown-nose enough.
4 creatives have left, 4 creatives have joined, Steve, Murray,Tim and Gene, that seems the way of things.
Talk about going from the fryimg pan into the fire!!
All the best Mitch.
@paul
Havent Tim and Gene been there for a year?
Nice try.
Hi Mac, no.
Hi fake Tim, thanks for taking the time to respond as me.
Hi Tim, yes.
Congrats on the new job and escaping, Mitch. Four creatives leaving in quick succession like this doesn’t look good at all… it seems more than just a coincidence.
So whose the AD going over? Someone needs to spell it out, feeling particularly dense today…
7.14am It’s me.
I’m sure it has nothing to do with the new ECD…
It’s not coincidence, theyre all just ready to move on to a different scene, a change of atmosphere- not to say Brands atmosphere is bad.
