Great strategy and lovely execution. I’m a speeder and this is one of the first campaigns that’s had a tangible impact on me. I really do try to enjoy the ride now. Nice work.
Posters look uncannily like the ‘Unworry’ NRMA work.
This campaign is starting to really come together. Reckon it might be around for some time. Unlike any other road safety stuff. Simple, touching, effective without being heavy-handed.
It’s getting people talking – and changing – how they feel about speeding. Like.
I really dig this work – the whole campaign, the whole strategic approach. Nice work guys.
Not as good as the work Brand did for the retirement village.
‘Dig’ ‘Metal’. You a hip dude Cogs.
I liked the tv but it doesn’t work well on the outdoor and these posters. It just comes across as boring here.
agree with 12.40. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
DanB.
Call me. Let’s talk about speeding. ‘Let’s slow down man, like the ad says. Pass me the cone. Yeeeaaaahhhhhhh.”
Hehe squirrels hide their nuts.
Yep. Boring. Sorry.
This is really crawling up itself now.

This is a great campaign. If you’re bold enough to bag it then be brave enough to put your name to it.
Great? Do you seriously think those dick heads who hoon down my street at 100 km’s in a 50km zone respond to this work? Do you seriously believe they are going to read an ad with some soft, gentle, beautifully written words from William Henry Davies? For fucks sake. These guys are turned on by movies like the Fast and fucking Furious 1 and 2 not some poofy poem. I think this campaign will only turn on some ad wankers judging awards who will get lifts home in taxis on their ad agency cab charge accounts. Meanwhile the hoons speed past. Get real.
10.49… You’re right in the sense that this does not appeal to hoons. But I think you’re very wrong in regards to what you think this campaign is trying to achieve.
I reckon you’d find that the majority of speeding fines are not handed out to your so called hoons. It’s the mums and dads, the young professionals, the ‘non-hoons’ who are only doing 10km over the speed limit. They’re the ones rushing to get somewhere – to work, to school, to the movies. So yeah, this campaign probably does make these people stop and think about speeding in a different light.
In the meantime, maybe you should slow down yourself and go and do a short course on ‘Defining Your Target Market’.
Hey jay tee bee. I think someone did a short course on ‘choosing a target market that we can do some ads for because the real target group is too hard’ course. So easy to target this group doing 10 over the limit. Will make nil difference to the road toll. Its a waste of money and meanwhile the real target group continues to speed. Killing and destroying other peoples lives.
Squirrels hide their nuts. Better slow down.
303 continue to enjoy the ride. YEP.
10.49/10.16.
You should try stepping out into the road and giving those hoons your best shot next time they pass. Do us all a favour.
As Rob Reilly said, “If clients keep reading negative stuff they’ll be afraid to buy great work.”
This is a great, long term campaign idea and we all need to stick with it because it won’t work unless the sentiment becomes embedded into our psyche.
And I don’t imagine for a minute that the client and agency haven’t done a heap of work on the target audience so who are we to second guess them?
Keep it up guys, well done.
Ooohhh 5.05. Are your creative feelings hurt? Sorry.
Sorry Paul but in this case 10.49 may have a point. Who are we to second guess this audience? We live here. We drive on the streets. We see what speeding can do. I like the campaign like many do but is it really is a bit soft. Lets see if it works.
Can anybody be bothered to prod 10.49/10.16/9.18/9.30 and counting with a stick just a little bit more? It seems to be turning him bi-polar
Congratulations to Lindsay, Rich, Dav, DM and everyone that works on ORS at 303 – This is an awesome campaign and will be remembered for a very long time as… Game Changing!
It’s clever. Can’t please all the people all the time. Hoons next: Enjoy the walk.
