Stay young in your old age

Bethanie Villages in W.A. are retirement villages with a difference. With bars, clubs and designer housing, Bethanie ensures that if you’re 60 going on 40, then Bethanie Villages are definitely the place for you. The Brand Agency created this outdoor campaign to promote this point of difference.

Lovely shots and done locally, whatever next!
Gorgeous. Simple. Well done!
Refreshingly beautiful. Classic, elegant and above all, different!
That investment in Garry has paid off big time. Picking up the Bethanie retirement villages account. Well done.
Elegantly simple, which is what any good poster should be. I can’t imagine they jumped up and down when this brief landed on their desk, but they’ve certainly made the most of it.
Big job. Deserved the large amount of executions. I saw one in the local chemist and then another in our doctors surgery. Good media planning supporting great creative. That’s why Brand are number one in Perth.
lol at 5.40pm
The blown up balloon is still the same age as the deflated balloons. ‘Stay blown up’ would be a better headline. Same with the flowers. And the grapes and the tyres. Wait a sec. This idea is flawed. But it looks nice so I will not mention it.
The line is ‘Where you go to live” Hasn’t the bald tyre done more living than the new tyre with no wear? If the tyre did go and ‘live’ there, would it too be bald within a few months? Mmmm.
It’s so refreshing to see original local work!!
Well done Shayne. Great insight. Stay young! Have you been watching Cocoon?
Love the concept – very well executed. Will the retirement village link work large-scale; we’ll have to wait and see.
Brand on fire at the moment! Well done to all involved.
Is it true? Are the posters A3? Someone said they are A4 in size. Keen to find out.
No messy details getting in the way. That’s the way advertising should be. Brave client. Should pick up metal.
Beautiful. Classic. Simple.
It’s classic. But so simple. Even beautiful.
Nice art direction. Have a look at the deflated balloons. They are all wrinkled. Nice touch. Agree with 7.01.
I saw this on bus backs today also.
7.14, they are supersites and busbacks and very nice too.
Can somebody tell me where this account was prior to Brand?
6.45
It was at Razzamataz Design in Morley. One man band.
6:45 I hear that their recruitment ads were with mf and the rest done by a 1 man band as 7:20 said. The new marketing manager has an agency background. Believe Brand has the whole account now. Their website says they have over 1100 staff so big for WA.
We have been looking after bethanie for years but they have never had a budget for outdoor, TV or any real large scale expenditure other than print, a few ads and that’s about it. It has been a great account for us but we are too small to take them to the next step where they need to be.. Not razzamatazz design and not a one man band either although they may have done a few jobs. It has been a great account – tough due to restrictions and internal change but happy to see them spending some big money to get where they need to go.
Tyre’s “Stay young”
– does that means young hoons should do burnouts and ‘stay young’, hence the three bald tyres?
Good work all round. I thought i saw another one with chains?
I just checked out the Razamataz website. Unlucky to lose account. Top work. Lost on cost.
Can all the anonymous Brand people please stop commenting on this thread. Otherwise Steve Harris might block the address!
Refined, subtle and uncomplicated. It is how do you say… so Brand.
Well done guys. A great concept and beautiful execution with a simple message – love it!
Now THIS is what the blog is for. No back-biting. Just endless slightly-similar sounding effusive praise. Suprisingly, for such a positive collection of comments, they are all anonymous. Go Brand
Where you go to live. That’s a great line.
So many joyous loving non branded comments.
Beautiful. Simple. Understood. Arhh Brand.
Obvious Razamataz commenter is the best.
I’m getting a strong cleaning product vibe from these ads.
At least the old peoples homes won’t have germs.
That’s the way…really lovely campaign Garry.
Tender. Juicy. Well done. Mmmmm Brand.
That first picture screams ARSE-GRAPES. Which, let’s face it, is bang on brief for the target market . Should win piles for the Brand
Very funny 4.46. Nice to start the day with a laugh, like the campaign by the way.
Love the comment on the National blog, “Maybe they did it for contra?” Meow!
Good campaign, nicely shot Allan.
