Cannes screening for Blame

WA made film Blame will screen at this month’s Cannes Film Festival in the Cinema des Antipodes section, an official sidebar event that is part of the Cannes Cinephiles program.

Blame was co-produced in WA last year by Factor 30 Films’ Ryan Hodgson and Melissa Kelly. Hodgson & Kelly will attend the festival to introduce the film’s three screenings and then participate in Q&A’s with the audience.

Blame has had a string of successful festival appearances at Melbourne, Toronto and Chicago in 2010, and continued its run in 2011 withofficial selection at the Victoria Film Festival in Canada, the Australian Film Festival in India, BAFICI in Argentina and CPH PIX in Denmark.

Blame is being released in cinemas on June 16.
