Countdown for The West Australian Caxton Creative Exercise for Newspaper Advertising
The deadline for Entries for Campaign Brief’s 2011 The West Australian Caxton Creative Exercise for Newspaper Advertising is less than three weeks away, with the Easter and ANZAC Day holidays happening over this weekend (Friday to Tuesday).
That will either give you some free time to work on your ideas, or take out a week out.
Either way, the deadline for entries is 4.00pm, Thursday, May 5.
Remember, all entries must be approved by the client to appear in The West Australian if they win.
The West Australian will run the winning ad as a full page in one of their Monday to Friday editions prior to the June 30 appearance deadline for the Caxton Awards. The West will also provide a trip for two to the Caxton Weekend for the winning creative team.
Last year, Ad Impact’s Drew Ridley and Neil Martin narrowly broke Julia Elton-Bott’s seeming stranglehold on this competition with their ‘Watch them Escape’ campaign for Midalia Steel (above). Elton-Bott has since re-located to Sydney so it’s even more wide open this year!
