Marketforce & Satterley animate the South West

To capitalise on recent sales momentum, Satterley has launched an integrated campaign for its long-standing and successful Dalyellup estate.
“Dalyellup Beach has been selling for over 10 years in the Bunbury region and needed a renewed creative solution to keep it fresh and relevant,” said Satterley’s General Manager of Marketing Loretta Sivwright. “Marketforce has not just delivered a unique advertising campaign, but a much broader creative solution adaptable across the entire estate’s marketing communications.”
Marketforce Account Director, Brendon Lewis added: “We’re quite proud of the Dalyellup work. Creating work that is fresh and interesting for such a cluttered category is always the challenge, and I think we have done this with Dalyellup. The inspiring music composed specifically for the TVC, with its unique watercolour animation, also complements the vision perfectly”.

The campaign is running on TV, unique press placements including 8pp wraps and bellybands, radio, outdoor, cinema and online.

Also in the South West, “Provence Estate in Busselton will officially launch the South West’s biggest display village this weekend, and we’re throwing a huge party in the estate’s main park to celebrate”, said Sivwright.
The event is supported by a dedicated TVC, radio, a newspaper wrap and direct mail.

Immediately following the ‘Party in the Park’, the creative and media strategy shift a gear to focus more on positioning Provence as the premium land estate in the South West.
“Advertising created specifically for the regionally market tends to be either very direct or quirky. It is very pleasing to see Satterley and its project partners invest in quality advertising communications for this market. We are selling the south west lifestyle and believed an appropriate tone and quality of advertising was required”, explained Lewis.

This is like the part in the film where the once-beautiful actress, having had acid thrown in her face by a lunatic some months previously, removes her bandages for the first time, her back to camera. In Hollywood a slow pan around would reveal her beauty has been restored. But this is an execution for a property developer in Perth from post-Tinning Marketforce. And all I’m seeing is scar tissue.
Stop looking in the mirror then
Speaking of Mr.T, what’s become of him? Rumor has it the gardening leave is almost over and he’s gearing up to open his own shop. C’mon Andrew, what’s going on?
As a land release these ads are no worse than every other agency’s land release work. They are actually very passable efforts – that more than adequately do the job for Satterley. And are crafted very well by DoubleG given the obvious lack of money.
I think 6.23 is on to a bigger issue. MF post Andrew Tinning is a shell of their former self due to client losses and key creative dept losses (AT, Julia). They have had a hard time of it and clearly don’t exist in the market at the moment due to the huge vacuum left by Andrew.
What’s worrying is they don’t seem to have any creative drive, despite the appointment of new CDs.
When Tinning came to Perth he set the standard for the next 18 months. Gary Horner has also tried to do this and Brand seem reinvigorated (he will fail in the long term as he has not endeared himself to the production industry here).
The MF guys however have just remained quiet. Happy to be home and in in semi-retirement? Or bidding their time with some great ideas about to hatch?
I really hope it’s the latter otherwise MF are even more fucked than they were before.
The clock’s ticking Patrick and whatshisname.
beware of the injured beast…./
Any client would be foolish not to consider MF. It still has a lot of talent not just in creative with a wealth of experience. They are eager and hungry for new business. Any new client would be treated pretty damn well there I would expect.
7.51am You are kidding!
MF will be very busy this year with Scitech Road Safety and City of Perth up for pitch this year.
Is the injured beast dying?
7.51am
Trouble is the city is crawling with injured beasts. MF, GC, 303 – take your pick…./
7.51. Can we expect more people with talent with a wealth of experience to get the chop soon. That seems to have been the MF policy for a while now.
Eager and hungry… yes, because they are shitting themselves and trying to retain their jobs.
…./ what is this?
7.51 they need to find you something to do over there at MF the lack of activity is affecting your brain.
“Patrick and whatshisname” Classic and v. funny.
That joke aside 8.46 makes some good observations. Mainly the guys need to get some ads out and Horner is obviously not here for the long haul.
12:35, 8:46, 9:04, 11:32, 1:14 and 3:36.
You guys are in this clip right? C’mon, we won’t laugh 😉

Ha Ha Ha! Good one Stevo. I agree, a lot like the people that have infiltrated our industry these days.
Jesus that ad is so fuck’n mundane.
I nearly fell asleep.
Mmmmmmm. The work has kinda lost its soul.
Strewth Stevo. You fair dinkum?
I am constantly amazed by the simultaneous naivety and arrogance of some comments here.
8.46, you seem to have the same delusion as many people in this city in thinking that Tinning was some kind of awesome, untouchable creative God.
Sure, he was (and still is) passionate about our industry and he knew an award-winning idea when he saw one – but come on folks, all MF’s best work over the last 5 or 6 years came from the creatives who worked there, NOT Andrew.
He did a good job (creatively, at least) as a CD of some pretty talented people. And now he’s gone, under seemingly dubious, underhanded circumstances, which is unfortunate, but it’s time to get over it.
And 12.35, don’t kid yourself, plenty of this boring real estate stuff happened while Mr T was at the helm, only he was smart enough not to advertise it on the blog.
So please, please let this be the last boring post about the ‘huge gaping creative hole’ Tinning has left.
Steve could you be 7.51?
A good CD finds, hires, nurtures, guides, protects, gives opportunity and fights for his team. He doesn’t have to do all the work.
Good job Andrew.
And if he wasn’t wothy of it, he wouldn’t still be getting all of this attention. Looking forward to seeing what you do next Andrew now that the shackles are off.
9.25 pm you obviously work att MF and you’re obviously feeling it.
