Industry donates over $30,000 for flood victims through Mitchells’ fundraiser
Mitchells Fundraiser for flood victims, held at the Cambridge Bowling Club last Thursday, was a major success. Over 300 industry people called in for a drink and a sausage sizzle during the course of the afternoon and evening.
Money raised via entry fees, the sale of cupcakes, raffles, a silent auction and a mini bowls tournament totalled over $15,000 (and still counting) which will be matched by the Mitchells Communication Group dollar for dollar. Congratulations Perth, our contribution will definitely exceed $30,000.
Events like this don’t simply occur miraculously, so the organisers, Mitchells, would like to thank a number of key people and companies for their amazing generosity in providing food and booze, and items for the silent auction.
