People moves at Mitchells
New business and transfers have seen some people moves at Mitchell & Partners, Perth.
The media agency has recently hired Clara De Dubois (ex OMD), Veronika Solcianska (ex OMD) and Carissa Pearce (ex SMG). De Dubois has already taken up her position and is managing the Mitchells end of the Lotterywest hand-over. Solcianska and Pearce will start in November.
Martin Pearce, Group Account Director on the Government contract and various other major accounts, will take up a position in the Mitchells Sydney office mid November. He, along with Alex Pekish, was responsible for establishing the Mitchells Perth office in 2008. Natalie Douglas, Media Executive, has taken up a transfer to Mitchells in Melbourne.
Mitchells General Manager, Tom Martin said “It’s great that, from time to time, we can offer our people the chance to go east and get a taste of life and work in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. Hopefully they’ll eventually head home to Mitchells Perth, bringing with them valuable experience.”

In providing Martin Travaskis with information about our staff movements I may have clumsily implied that Alex Pekish and Martin Pearce single-handedly established the original Mitchells Perth office. This is not the case and I wish to acknowledge contributions by Andrew Newman, Jan Hough, Paula Cameron, Pat Baird, Astrida Rumbens, Cindy Henderson and Louise Evers who were, amongst others, key contributors.
