Fantastic result.in a category where most people are trying to be funny raw emotional spots like these might just get up.
Well fucken done Kats.
Top work even getting shortlisted.
I didn’t see these on telly but I do like how egoless they are. Both from the company and from a agency POV. Nothing clever, just health. Could have been puke-worthy too.
Only question, did they have impact on air within an ad break? They certainly work on YouTube when given the attention.
Well done Kurt, Sam and the team at Meerkats. Were are stoked that they are getting the recognition that they deserve.
Some of the best ads I’ve seen for health. Much better than their funnier approach
Go the Katz. Congrats guys.
Really well deserved. One of those approaches that feels really logical, yet no-one had thought of it until now.
“6.10pm
Looking forward to seeing how the excellent tv does with film jury. It is certainly very well-written and genuinely innovative for the sector and therefore more than worthy of another finalist or two.

6.10, you’re dreaming if you think HBF tv is going to do anything. ”

7.39… the hbf stuff is different enough in the sector to sneak through on the raw emotion ticket (along with Thai Life’s Que Sera Sera.)

I hope you’re right 8.14. I’m not saying the tv is shit, just that I don’t think the jury will see it the same way you do. But if it wins an award I will be very happy for Kurt and the Kats.”
Be Happy 7.39, be very happy. Well done Meerkats (and O&M Thailand for Que Sera Sera)

‘I told you so’ would have been quicker.
11.34 (nee 6.10)
Your place is lonely at night isn’t it?
– Not 7.39.
Fantastic result, well done, good luck 🙂
Negative emotions to = positive reaction?
I’ve now lost all respect for the international ad community. The HBF ads that try to show how a cancer patient feels are disgraceful and insulting to anyone who is/ has been through such treatments. In those situations, it is MEDICARE that helps you, not HBF.
Pathetic!
Good luck for tonight Kurt. Got to be a good sign that 2 got through.
Enough said
