Mitchells hosts World’s Biggest Morning Tea
Last Thursday, May 27, all across Australia, hundreds of companies, organisations and individuals hosted the World’s Biggest Morning Tea to raise money for the fight against Cancer. Mitchells Perth got into the spirit by inviting media partners, client and staff for a cup of coffee and cake.
Guests were invited to bring a plate and donate generously to a veryworthy cause. Conservative estimates suggest that approximately 8billion calories were on offer and the event raised almost $600 for theCancer Council. Those who made a $10 donation are in the draw to win aEuropean holiday worth $12,800.
Whilst every contribution was greatly appreciated, special mention mustgo to two cakes: a giant 96fm logo cake and Kate Wesson of Mitchells’boob cake (Kate assures us she also created the mould.) A special thankyou to Sasha Kinane from Mitchells for thebrilliant organisation of what will definitely become an annual event.

All those in the top photo look like they are hanging out for wine, not tea.
Look at Marty in the background staring…. staring into your soul…
Really bad body language from those girls in the front row.
I think this was a great idea by the Mitchell team which deserves praise – not negative comments. Wish we had thought of it.
Hear hear Debra. Well said.
