$50 to the first client on the blog who successfully manages to get an 8 page brochure briefed into their Creative Department and worked up before Friday.
6.16 – Most of us who take this comp seriously will probably do the majority of our work on the weekend.
Please don’t try to get clients off-side with what remains an incredibly generous and hugely successful initiative from The West.
8.25 Lighten up. Its Tuesday which means its almost Wednesday which is mid-week and almost the weekend, which is when we do our best work …isn’t it?
Just give it to Julia now and pass me a fucking beer.
6.16 I’ve just finished the copy for a 16 page brochure. Now it’s time to get back to the annual Campaign Brief The West Australian Try And Beat Julia Competition. (I don’t know why I bother)
A great idea can always be cracked. It all depends on how hungry you are.
A tough nut can always be cracked. It all depends on how hungry you are.
What happened to the Burswood idea from last year? It doesn’t seem to have travelled very well internationally despite CB’s predictions. Funny as most independents rated it higher than the crossword ad.
Maybe it looks scam in the magazine it ran in. Maybe the entry wasn’t presented well. Maybe CB were just trying to be encouraging to GC. Maybe the judges missed it. Maybe the other ads were stronger in the category. Maybe it just wasn’t good enough as it did not even finalist at CB awards.
Funny things happen in awards. Enjo book anyone?
I would love to have the Burswood ad in my folio.
Let me be the first to congratulate Julia.
