National award recognition for Corporate Theatre

Perth event production company Corporate Theatre was recognised nationally last week at a glittering ceremony attended by over 700 meeting professionals held at the Melbourne Convention Centre as part of the Meetings Events Australia (MEA) annual conference.

Competing against finalists from all other states, Corporate Theatre’s award recognised outstanding contribution in the creative and technical production arena staging meetings, incentives, conventions and events.

Collecting the award on stage, Managing Director Vaughan Emery(pictured above with Business Development Manager Cathy Fogliani) paidtribute to his team of 24 and the loyalty of the company’s clientsduring a turbulent trading year, which had seen a drop in the meetingsand business events across Australia due to the effects of the globalfinancial crisis.

Meetings Events Australia CEO Linda Gaunt said, “Corporate TheatreProductions are a highly deserving winner of the national award forTechnical and Creative Production. This award category is one of MEA’smost competitive and it is commendable that this WA-based company haswon”.

The award was judged by 12 judges, none of whom were from WA. Of all the awards presented on the night, Corporate Theatre was the only winner from WA.

Headquartered in Perth and principally servicing the presentation needsof the Western Australian conference and event organisers and meetingplanners, this year Corporate Theatre is also exporting its skilloutside of the State undertaking Australian client presentationassignments in New Zealand, China and Eastern Australia.
