Picture 1070.pngWA Today reports that WA Tourism’s  “Extraordinary Taxi Ride”, conceived by Host, Sydney, got off to a very flat start yesterday morning, when the RAC had to be called to jump start the taxi being used to promote the state’s natural beauty to the world. The multi-million dollar tourism campaign was due to start in a blaze of glory yesterday morning, with onlookers, dignitaries and local band Gyroscope gathered at Forrest Place to see taxi driver Doug Slater off.

The local industry still has it’s nose put out that the account was awarded to an Eastern States agency back in July last year.
