“The Brand Agency has been a great partner and we look forward to continuing to work together both here and in Melbourne. The partnership has been mutually beneficial and our clients have been the big winners,” said Carlo. “Because we deal with most of our clients directly, becoming completely independent was always part of Longtail’s long-term strategy, the current boom in digital advertising simply brought our timeframe forward.”

The Managing Director of The Brand Agency Steve Harris said bothparties will maintain the strong working relationship they havedeveloped over the past two and a half years.

“Longtail has been very successful, but for the business to go to thenext level I understand that it needs to operate and be seen to betotally independent to The Brand Agency,” said Harris. “Longtail willcontinue to be an important partner to The Brand Agency in the digitalarea, but being 100% independent will expose it to greateropportunities for growth.”

As part of its new found independence, Longtail will shortly be movingfrom The Brand Agency to offices in West Perth, where it will bebusiness as usual.
