An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced graphic designer to join the Art Gallery of Western Australia’s Community Relations team.

You are the person for this position if you:

• are a self motivated individual who takes a “hands on” approach to work;

• are highly organised, with excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines;

• can demonstrate extensive experience in planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and coordinating visual communication solutions, through print and electronic media, including production of catalogues and exhibition signage, as well as web and multi-media development;

• have excellent contacts within the Perth print industry, and highly developed production management skills;

• have strong interpersonal and communication skills; and

• are proficient in the use of Adobe C3/CS4 software, in particular InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat, on a Mac platform.

This position is initially offered as a permanent, part-time position (22.5 hours per week).
