Mitchell to leave Marketforce

Former Channel Nine Perth general manager and current Marketforce Consulting executive Mike Mitchel is leaving the agency.

Marketforce chairman John Driscoll said after 25 years in media land and just under two years in agency land, Mitchell has decided that he’s seen enough to know that he wants to return to the “other side”.

“After some deep thinking, Mitch believes that his future lies in either client or media land and, being the honourable chap that he is, has decided to pursue this objective as a free agent away from Marketforce where he can speak openly and honestly about a new career direction,” said Driscoll. “I have greatly enjoyed Mitch’s ‘can do’ attitude and friendship during his time at Marketforce and greatly appreciate his hard work and contribution to the agency over the past two years.
