Penultimate chance to dance with the Ladies

It’s curtains for the Ladies who Disco. With three years of organising nights of shameless, blameless fun under their belts – to raise money for small Perth charities – the legendary ladies have decided to call it a day.

‘Screen Icons: the iconic soundtracks of our lives’ on Saturday, October 17 is a chance to dance to your favourite movie soundtracks from the 80’s and 90’s while supporting Native Animal Rescue.

Lady Ferrari said it was also the second-last chance to get the silly costumes out and win some hilarious prizes.

“Get your costumes out to celebrate the time when John Travolta’s hadthe booty to shake in Saturday Night Fever and Grease, when Johnnyrescued Baby from the corner, and Tom Cruise slid across the floor inhis socks, jocks and ray-bans.”

“Direct from London, DJ Joe Hutton will get retro and rock thedancefloor with the best tunes from movies like Fame, FlashdanceDesperately Seeking Susan, St Elmos Fire, The Breakfast Club and theGoonies. And to top off the night there will be a special guest appearance bySmoky Dallas (aka Gemma Tognini) who will sing some more movieclassics.”

Native Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit, non government incorporatebody dedicated to the rehabilitation and release of sick, injured,orphaned and displaced native animals.

They rely totally on public donations, funds raised through their ownfundraising activities and incidental funding grants from variousgovernment and non-government sources.
