PADC awards judging today

The judging for this year’s PADC awards happens today. Despite reports that entries are down 30% the standard of work should be quite strong. The PADC has put together a top class judging panel that includes three former Perth creatives that have gone on to star at award shows all over the world. Last night the PADC committee entertained the visiting judges with a dinner at Lamonts in East Perth.

This year’s judges are: Steve Back, Executive Creative Director Saatchi & Saatchi Australia. Steve has won and judged at Cannes, D&AD, The One Show and The Clio Awards. Matt Eastwood, Vice chairman and National Creative Director of DDB Sydney as well as being a permanent panellist on The Gruen Transfer. Kevin Finn of Finn Design – D&AD winner and founder, editor and designer of Open Manifesto magazine. Brendan Guthrie, Deputy Creative Director of Grey Melbourne and has won gold at The One Show, Clio and the LIAA. And Ashley Ringrose, co-founder of Soap Creative in Sydney and winner of two Cannes Cyber Lions and a One Show award.
