MARKETFORCE LOSE PLANNING DIRECTOR

Derry Simpson.jpgMarketforce group consumer planning director Derry Simpson has resigned from the agency.

When contacted Marketforce chairman John Driscoll confirmed Simpson had left and said that she had wanted to take a good break from the industry and spend time with relatives in the eastern states.

“Derry has told us she is planning to return to Perth at the end of the year and at that stage, if she decides to remain in Perth, the plan is to talk to her about working on some of our clients on a contract basis.”

Simpson joined Marketforce in 2006 and helped establish the Marketforce Consulting business unit. She has over 15 years experience in the marketing industry. Having worked on some of the country’s largest FMCG brand portfolios; charged with the responsibility of driving the consumer thinking and strategic planning for these brands; Derry has held Senior Marketing Management and Strategy positions with companies such as the Fosters Group, Carlton and United Breweries, Bulla Dairy Foods and Diageo Australia.
