Premier Media Group (PMG) has announced that advertising sales for the online division of the company – foxsports.com.au – will move to the Multi Channel Network (MCN).

The announcement will see MCN assume control of foxsports.com.au’s advertising portfolio from January 1, 2009. MCN is represented in WA by Media Tonic.

Shayne Carvey, Director of Sales, Fox Sports, said the appointment of MCN is about PMG consolidating its advertising representation with MCN.

“This change in agency is strategically important for PMG and most importantly foxsports.com.au, as we strive to offer our customers a fully integrated market solution covering television and online through one dedicated agency. MCN has been representing Fox Sports television advertising sales since 1997 so this is a natural fit for our brand and the business.”

Media Tonic director, Mark Treasure, said MCN now represents the biggest and best Australian sports website as well as the premier sports television network.

“The two combined are without doubt the most powerful multi media sports advertising/communications vehicle in the country. Foxsports’ website combined with other channel and independent websites means MCN now has a highly valuable, significant, premium online network.”
