DESIGN RECOGNITION FOR THE BRAND
The Brand Agency has had five designs accepted into Volume 5 of the LogoLounge annual. Agency MD, Steve Harris, said: “The LogoLounge books are one of the highest selling series of design books going around. Pretty much every designer has one. It’s kind of like a design bible and their website is a forum full of design trends, editorials, articles and a database of around 100,000 logos.”
The international panel of judges included Andreas Karl of Karl Design, Von Glitschka of Glitschka Studios, Michelle Sonderegger of Design Ranch, Sarah Moffat of Turner Duckworth, Jamie Koval of VSA Partners, Vince Frost of Frost Design, Bronwen Rautenbach of The Brand Union, and Alex de Janosi of Lippincott.
Over 33,000 designs were submitted for entry into Volume 5 and judging took nearly 3 months. The accepted work (seen here) was produced by The Brand’s design team of Dan Agostino, Judy Moosmueller and Daniela Varone.

Anyone wishing to replicate the Brand’s success simply has to upload their logo, free-of-charge at logolounge.com. Once every couple of years they pick a range of logos ” to form an effective mix of large and smaller firms, geographies, budgets, and client types.(logolounge faq) So if you are from a small firm in an unusual geographical location with a restricted budget you have a good chance of being included. Bodes well for Perth in the future.
well done The Brand, love the logo
Seconded and welcome to the club. There are a few of us representing Perth in this publication and we’re obviously much happier people than Mr 5:20.
‘…welcome to the club…’. That wouldn’t be the special people’s club, 3.19, would it?
