BEECK APPOINTED NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR OF SYNOVATE AUSTRALIA

Synovate has announced two senior internal appointments to reflect the continued growth of the Australian business.

Perth-based Julie Beeck will assume the role of Managing Director of Australia and will be responsible for the continued expansion and development of Synovate’s activities at a national level.

Dean Harris will assume the newly created role of Client Services Director, to oversee client relationship management and business development on a national basis. Harris will also be responsible for Synovate industry specialisms in Australia, including the Motoresearch and Healthcare businesses.

The new roles will report to Brent Stewart, the CEO of Australia and New Zealand and CEO of Global Business Planning for Synovate.

“Our business has grown at high double digits in Australia for the last 16 years and these appointments reflect the need for further management depth to service our clients effectively,” said Stewart. “Between them, Julie and Dean have 26 years experience within our business here in Australia and are the obvious candidates to take the business to the next level.”

Beeck was Stewart’s first hire when he started Market Equity in 1993. That business was acquired by Synovate parent Aegis plc in 2005.
