GATECRASHER SNUGGLES UP TO BEDSHED
In a big win for the agency, Gatecrasher has been appointed to the national Bedshed account. Itis a very good win for Gatecrasher as the agency recently lost theHouse Works account when Wesfarmers decided to close down theoperation. There is also a question mark over Curtin University with areview process about to begin.
TheBedshed appointment follows a two month review process that involvedfour other agencies. The business was previously handled at Mindfieldby veteran Perth adman John Morgan.
“We’re delighted with the appointment”, said Gatecrasher MD, TonyScampoli. “Bedshed is about to embark on a fresh new path in its brandpositioning and there’s no better way to begin a new relationship. This is a very substantial account by Perth standards and theappointment is a credit to Gatecrasher’s extremely well rounded serviceoffering.”
Bedshed’s Sarah Freedman said the selection of Gatecrasher came down totheir proven ability to work with national clients and the opportunityto utilise the skills and experience of Gatecrasher’s Director ofPlanning and Strategy, Jane Ghiretti.
Media planning and buying was not part of the review and remains with Media Forte. Gatecrasher will commence working on the business immediately.
