New date set for the Oasis Ball and Campaign Brief Awards at Crown Ballroom

Given the announcement yesterday by the State Government to move to level two restrictions, the Oasis Ball and Campaign Brief Awards has been forced to move dates. The crowd capacity regulations under level two restrictions make it impossible for the Oasis Ball and Campaign Brief Awards to take place on April 8th.

The new date for the ball is Friday June 24th, 2022 – when hopefully there will be minimum restrictions that impact on the number of guests that can attend.

Importantly, the announcement of all the Campaign Brief Awards will also move to this date. The delay is unfortunate, however it is necessary.

Oasis Ball Committee Chairperson, Cindy Henderson, said: “Based on the latest health advice, upgraded public health and social measures will be introduced state-wide from 12:01am, Thursday 3 March. This announcement affects the current date of the Oasis Ball, Friday 8th April, with regards to density and capacity limits. To ensure the health and safety of our industry, The Oasis Ball Committee has decided to shift the date of the event to Friday 24th June 2022. It will still be held at Crown Towers in the ballroom.”

For participants who have already purchased tickets, your tickets will be valid for the new date. For participants who have purchased accommodation at Crown Towers at the special Oasis Ball accommodation rate, your booking will be transferred.
