Online media training company Expert Registry launches ‘How to get into the media’ course
Expert Registry the online media training company is going offline to deliver four media training courses at the Australian Institute of Management WA.
The course is called ‘How to get into the media’. It has been designed for individuals and groups looking to develop their knowledge of traditional and modern media in Australia, prepare themselves for dealing with the media and for leveraging their media appearances for maximum impact on their personal and business brands. The life cycle of media engagement will be covered, from understanding the media landscape, through to creating and pitching content, preparing for, and executing live interviews, and promoting media engagements via digital platforms.
“While Expert Registry does concentrate on delivering online media training nationally the opportunity to work with AIM WA to deliver an in-person program is what we love to do.” Says Nic Hayes, Founder of Expert Registry. “This isn’t a media release writing course, it’s the before, the during and the after of any media engagement that will prepare you for your best possible performance.”
The dates of the programs are set for February 28, May 11, August 31, and November 10, 2022.
“Expert Registry has a truly engaging media training program that will appeal to both beginner and intermediate media representative of any business and organisation” said Professor Gary Martin of AIM WA. “The in-person training and attention to the current media cycle will be invaluable to any business owner or brand representative.”
“AIM WA has been working with Nic Hayes through Media Stable and now Expert Registry for many years through their very popular #MeetTheMedia program, this full day course will be just as popular.”
In other news at Expert Registry effective from yesterday until the end of February the online media training program will be slashed by 70%. A move to make media training possible for as many people across the country. The offer is being taken up by professional services, by regionally based organisations and business owners from all sectors.
“It’s not a fire sale and we certainly won’t be doing it again but with the pressures that are on people already in 2022 we wanted to make professional development like media training accessible and affordable even if it is for just short time.” Nic Hayes went on to say “It’s the best investment you can make in yourself or a colleague. The ability to communicate effectively with media.”
